AE Precision has a team of multi-disciplined engineers working around the clock to produce your components to even tougher deadlines.  We have procedures in place to ensure that our machine shop is constantly running to maximum efficiency which benefits all of our customers.
Through the life cycle of an order: -

  • Our Production Engineering Department will engineer the full lifecycle of your parts and assemblies.
  •  Our machine shop will manufacture your parts, with full traceability and part marking if required, which will be traceable through our client area.
  • All parts are cleaned and offered to the Inspection Department to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications of the original drawings.
  • Once a job is complete the details of the processes followed are fed back to the Production Engineering Department for analysis.  This extra level of quality control ensures accurate data is filed for better planning and execution of future iterations of the job.  This information is also used to support more accurate quotations and planning of similar components.

In order to support our customer needs and help reduce the cost of manufacturing small batches, AE will run Economical Batch Quantities (EBQ), and will store these components on site until they are required by our clients.  This approach guarantees that our clients’ parts are always available Just In Time (JIT).  Fluctuations in production demand are therefore smoothed out with this methodology.  Our Production and Stock Control software will identify when stocks are low and will trigger new production of the specific parts required. (MRP).

During the design process our engineers can work with client's designers to identify potential manufacturing problems and to make sure that once the final design reaches the manufacturing stage, the products are engineered using the most cost effective processes.
